    mrdinky, i also think there are many brand issues with this site.

    brand is not just a logo (which i am sure you know) but it has many touch points. even more in interactive design.

    i think there are several that don't really excel the CT brand.
    first off are color choices, they seem far to pedistrain and not really thought out

    then there is the cluttered nature of the pages with no real focus, i dont think any of the brick and mortor stores are clutter or you don't know where to look to find something

    everything being animated and jumping around on main pages, when you walk into the stores there is a real thought to flow of how the customer moves through out the store, when i come to the main pages i feel like there are a bunch of juggling clowns (animated gifs) running at me.

    i could go on and on and i wont get into interaction touch points, but again for how much research is claimed for the visual design of this site i certainly don't see it.
