popular culture is polluted with double standards these days.
it's generally held that slurs are unacceptable, with exceptions made for 'fag', etc.
everyone knows we should embrace other cultures, except for france with their 'arrogant, cowardly populace'.
additionally, an individuals spirituality is to be respected, even admired, unless they're christian because they're 'superstitious assholes'.
*and that's just stuff i've seen/heard in the last 24 hours. nice, huh?
