We used to have a junior here who was promoted above me as team leader. When asked to work on a job, always insisted that he needed loads of time plus extra staff. We did a secret test once. Both given the same job. Needless to say, I finished it on my own in 3 days, he hadn't even started as he said he needed extra staff. We gave him the extra staff and he still took 2 weeks and then presented to the client. They accepted my work and he got sacked! useless knob cheese.
