nz is pretty heavily influenced by US culture I reckon. as is most of the western world.
strip malls, big franchised "sell everything super shops" instead of small mom-and-pop neighborhood specialty stores,
shitty urban plastic looking architecture, mini storage for all your worthless crap...
its all going pear shaped down here.but as long as the kiwi DIY spirit and maori culture remain, theres is hope for us.
