    they say the Romans expelled Jews in the first century AD from the land known as Judae. Which is not strictly true. After a Jewish uprising the Romans destroyed the Temple of Solomon and expelled Jews from Jersualem. However this ban was lifted when the Persians took over Jersualem after the decline of the Holy Roman Empire. Jewish people have, in fact, continously been present in that region (from north africa deep into central asia, including the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem) for the latst 2005 years (and more!). The loss of "homeland" is kind of a Zionist myth used to re-establish the Kingdom of Solomon.
