Haha, I love power outages while working. I've had a few when I was employed at a fast-food place about 5 years ago. It was awesome. We give the food to the customers for free (b/c otherwise it will get cold and wasted), and then we stand around and wait until the power comes back on. Or we go home.
I remember once when the power went off a few years ago and my family slept in the family room (all 7 of us), because my younger siblings were scared.
Anyone remember the Ice Storm? Remember when everyone got a certificate stating "Our family survived the Ice Storm of 1998". Or at least we did.
Whoops, got off topic.
Hopefully the so-called tornado doesn't hit Ottawa.
