    ok...

    the sound card should be fine to do this...as it works just great with the guitar port...
    i can play my electic through my computer using the altec-lansing speaker system i have like an amp..

    works like a charm, and sounds great..

    but it's just the 'being able to record it' thing that has me confused..

    i'll check the midi channels tonite...
    tho i'm not exactly sure what to do when i check em.. ;)

    yep...im new to this sort of thing....
