do what any friend would do, tell them thier hygeine is in need of assistance
i once got toothpaste, soap, mouthwash, floss, toothbrush, and a washcloth for someone
gave it to him in front of a lot of people too
he got the point
even thanked me later
he wondered why no one brought it up sooner
i told him people are too polite and would rather talk about you behind your back than chance an incident
thats mostly the problem
