1) take it
2) work there and show what you're able to do
3) ask THEN for a raise
4) if you've enough time around look for other freelance jobs. if you sign the contract make sure that there's no rule you break when working as a freelancer. if they have those rules: tell them with that salary you can't afford it. then they may pay more.
