  People who dis css2 are *probably just n00b programmers who think that because a language has a learning curve, it is somehow's the standard's fault for 'sucking'. maybe your chops are weak. maybe you need to work harder and actually learn something. If you're constantly re-writing css at all that would be the first clue that you need to get back to basics - css2 is the most flexible, reusable formatting language, hands down.
