I second the 15' all the way.
and I don't think you need an extra monitor, (if you are really craving for the space you can...) it is the perfect size.17' is too big, if apple comes with a 30' laptop, I'm sure there will be tons of people buying it just because is big, but it defeats the point of it being portable.
I have a 1.5 with 1.25 ram and it works great, and I do music, print and video, never had problems with the mouse either. I have no complaints, this is the second 15' I get, and I will probably get one when and if the g5 comes out, over a desktop. I work freelance and I can go anywhere, I had finished music tracks on plane rides!
