JazX I have to disagree - to create a stable deliverable atomic weapon is NOT that simple to create - one that needs all the support and trappings of an organized state plus the intellectual resources. The theory of how to make one is simple but the management of manufacture and expertise and critical materials needed insure for the near term that it is outside the capabilities of a rogue group developing one...
Hence the nervousness about an advanced technological state i.e. Iran creating such a weapon - they COULD do it fairly easily..
