  JaxX - I've read in several places recently how Gould's "Punctuated Equilibrium" means absolutely nothing - it's a desperate invention to avoid the clear design inference of the Cambrian Explosion.

  I'm not disagreeing with you persay, just stating that he wrote a book on the subject. Like all science, much of what is done, eventually gets debunkt at some point. The Cambrian Explosion does bring a few things into question. Any links on Gould? I once met him and had Ontogeny and Phylogeny signed. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obido…

  It's not an easy read, even for someone wtih a science BG.
