well, if you're going into an ursa or similar telecine session then you can do what the hell you want, but if you're just gonna be going through a one light transfer then get the guy to high contarast the footage during that process and you'll be able to reverse it in AE or shake or whatever you want later... if i'm with your thinking then lighting the subjects as you're shooting them on the day will play a big part in how succesful you'll be on revesing footage...... depends if you have a VFX supervisor or not... if you dont have that luxury then maybe shoot some tests on DV with different lighting and do some tests before you burn your cash with 16mm????????
