  There are small holes in the Evolutionary Theory.

  There are major, enormous holes in the teachings of Christianity (Genesis, I'm looking at you)

  Now the problem here is that the former, Science, has the burden of proof. It has to fill in its holes, however tiny they may be.

  The latter, religion, just says "I believe" and expects unquestioning support.

  So I believe in the less flawed of the two, and my faith goes to finding answers, not simply blindly accepting the flawed and rickety model of religion given to us.

  That is the real debate here. Challenging the status quo. Let discipler fight change. He'll end up losing.
