Mother adopt a unique approach to problem solving and in turn provide a unique ethos and personality. What Mother are trying to achieve is not "look at our work, aren't we fucking amazing. Call us and we can make you loadsa money (and perhaps win a few awards)"
They are showing their individuality and how they treat their employees as people each with their unique skill and approach like the projects they take on.
