which band, kelpie? was it the Black seeds (i've just noticed they're touring blighty at the mo) ? a pal came back from NZ last year and brought all their albums along too...pretty good, imho, if a little cheesy and naive sometimes (i always imagine the NZ equivalent of trustafarians sitting around earnestly, sagely nodding their heads.. :)
i would represent NZ through a natural element - forget LoTR references, they're just insulting! Or Maori - their tattoos and natural art are particularily inspiring and distinct.
