I wouldnt let my kids play in the garden with a naked old man walking around next door outside. I sure as hell would call the cops, too. I don't think that's mean at all.
If you decide to be nude around your own children is fine... but I think its pretty shitty if you get to decide for other people's children.
People usually don't think its all normal, happy days and puffy clouds when people, especially when unrelated, are all twig and berries infront of strangers and children. That totally rules out garden tea parties. ppft! It would suck to live next to that... but I can't say anything if they keep it private.
