It has been discussed quite a bit here in Chicago because the ads are everywhere.
Many people, mostly women, have written into a few papers saying "women like these are people I'm friends with, they're normal, average women."
Most of them consider them attractive, and Dove says that the ad was in response to the overuse of the stereotypical super thin supermodel in most advertising.
