And oh yeah. Of COURSE they are going to want to make changes. First off, you're not a fucking artist. Depending on the client sometimes I'll throw something in that they will hate and want out immediately thereby making their 'required' change. Makes no bones to me, it was a pre-calculated move anyways. Like making the logo 15% smaller than what you want. That way when they inevititably (of course depending on the client) want it bigger you make it bigger. Job done.
But it takes time to read these things, if the client drives an SUV or has a 'marketing degree' then the logo issue will rear it's ugly head. I've had them want almost nothing besides the logo as big as possible even though they have almost no brand recognition. It's kind've like poker sometimes.
