probably not from here, he knows you in person, co worker maybe..that has had a man crush on you for years. And know no other way to let you know.
Not to get you paranoid or anything, but If I were you, I will double check the behaviour of all your male friends for the past 3 years, every little comment they said that didn't made much sense is now starting to do so.
