  I live in Encants, which is about 7 mins to the center by bicycle and 7 mins to the beach. You get much more space than in the center for your money and it has everything you need for day to day living. We found the flat in the local newspaper and avoided agency fees.
  I work with some agencies in the US and London which works fine and you can make more than working locally.
