  Thanks for the varied response. I have no intention of being a DJ. I was in a band for a many years and we have decided to start up again (6 years on). I feel we need to add an extra sound/s to our set. I have dabbled with samples/loops and a bit of mixing, scratching and beats but do not yet know where this is going. So it is more for experimental but could be used for a live performance. I can sell the turntables on after if need be, as I know these things will never lose value.

  I was also looking at cdj's but these are very pricey.
