You have to be careful with BZP - I've met one of the guys who's been responsible for a lot of the BZP (etc) development, especially in NZ, and he's told us of stories about 'not-so-well-run' labs run by money-focussed schmos knocking out low quality shit.
It 's believed to be, cumulatively, quite a 'dirty' drug. which, as the wikipedia entry suggests, leaves you feeling pretty grotty. I know that I don't really want to consume any more (i've tried it in the past and yes, it does work..). Also, (admittedly, like most drugs) the long-term effects are not at all understood.
But then, I've had it with selling legal and herbal highs/drugs, and don't want any more to do with the whole shebang, so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to.
I'm sticking with weed and the occasional dabbling in psychedelic entheogens from now on.
