woof, too true, but would you say the motivations of the American administration is as simple as that? The spreading democracy thing is a genuine aim and altruistic in and of itself - the problem I have with the neo-cons is that they seem incapable of seperating that from a capitalist stateside model of economics once this objective has been "achieved". Securing oil reserves is about mora than lining pockets too though....
