my experiences there have been limited to: many traffic jams to count when trying to drive through Hartford; a weekend camping in Granby; ferry to and from fisher's island from New London; hitchiking through, picked up by insane hell's angel in rusty car with middle aged german couple making out in back seat;floor of car kept catching fire and couple would put it out with lemonade; arrested in Hartford for hitchiking
