before renting a place.. i suggest doing a drive by at night before the lease is signed...
take 15 minutes and smoke a cig outside... around 9-10 o clock. you'll be able to see if the neighborhood is quiet, crazy, retarded or cool and night before a commitment is made.
i require dead silence on my street... anything else keeps me up for ages. I found a nice a liked.. and found out that at night, its chock full of college brats from UCLA and its hella loud.
