The backgrounds are superb!
It looks good. I would, however, try not to obscure the background graphics with too many white boxes (of content). Some of the backgrounds would allow you to just place text (like the navigation). Keep it that way and say no to white boxes!!
Improvements....graphic text for the main menu (not system text). Reduce the size of the footer (copyright info).
