Yeah I always disapear when I go to work south of the River. It does seem a bit cut off same with Hackney.
Loads of young people live in Hackney and it has a good vibe, also close to Shorditch. But no tube and buses take ages to get anywhere. Still I have lots of freinds over there and they don't seem to mind.
I'm a bit biased towards Highbury. Not really the 3 wheeled push chairs you get in Angle, (skt, I know you want one) Also one stop from Kings X and 10 mins on the bus to Old St.
I would either live in East or North London
