Gmail Beta
When will it come out of beta? Surely this is counter productive, not allowing the "general public" to apply for the service already, what has it been, 6 months? Instead of springing this kickass service on the online world, taking everyone, including Yahoo! and Hotmail by suprise, they have waited this long, therefore allowing it's two biggest rivals to play "catch up".
I mean everyone has like 50 invites sitting there not being used, fucking release it already you idiots.

(Jul 21 05, 14:05)Actually, they are REALLY, REALLY smart, for not "releasing it" the invite things gives a sort of an in status, sort of a club that is not that easy to belong. you can't just go and get an email address you need an invite. That is why everyone is offering invites or asking for it on every form, it is GENIOUS!
The truth is that there are other emails that offer that kind of space, or sometimes even more, but people want to "belong" to the "gmail club" I won't be surprised if they never release it .
That is the main source of attraction an it sure is working great.
