on a sony vaio. xp home... connecting thru to a main dell dektop using a linksys router.
we recently brough tanother brand new laptop. we just switched on the wireless switch and th enet worked perfectly. didnt need to configure anything. access to the secure pages were fine too!
makes it even more a mystery
