i never really thought of myself as a radical femmie.
I'm no bra burner, but i do think women need to build their own little fortune, without the idea that they're going to have the support of a man... or that they're going to stick around. all of the sudden, the power has shifted in our favour, when men don't have control over the relationship with money and security.
it makes for healthier living.
I was actually thinking about writing an essay about women who work through their 20's. Recently, I've met more than a handful of women who make it their goal, to work as hard and as much as possible, just to see where they can go. I'd say, its an obsession just as ridiculous as living in the gym, obsessing about a sport, or having "that that" you do to pass the time. Now, a lot of women fill that with career. If anything to obsess about, I don't think its a bad thing. But, it does come with it's drawbacks, as does everything.
