    well, not so much San Diego city, but in Oceanside, shit yeah. One of the big Marine bases are there.

    Then you have the navy in Coronado and the Air Force (I think) in MiraMar.

    This is why San Diego is notoriously Republican.

    I lived in Oceanside/Carlsbad for a while. They are in north county, probably 30 min north of the actual city.

    I think any beach city is really nice. There are a row of 5 or so cities that I wouldn't mind living in at all. Carlsbad, Encinitas, Leucadia, Cardiff, Solana Beach..
