meeting girls, how do you do it? what has worked?
or is the most reliable way still getting a referral from friends?i have a slow social network

(Jul 18 05, 21:28)1) you can't care wether or not you get their number or not, or even if they talk back to you. there are other fish in the sea if you get turned down.
2) if you get turned down it's not the end of the world. don't sweat it. if you're worried about your friends busting your balls for getting shot down you can always fire back 'hey, at least i had the balls to talk to her'
3) admire from afar at first. find something you can talk about. if she is wearing a nice dress walk buy and 'happen' to notice how well she looks in it, then say sorry if i embarrased you but you really do look fantastic. then walk away. there is a good chance she'll stop you before you go.
4) compliment a girl at the bar about her hair, or her nails. nonchalantly. the biggest turnoff for a chick is a douchbag trying to hard. you gotta act like you don't care.
5) have fun. don't try to hard. always find your in. that one common denominator you can talk to her about.
