I work at a law firm in Chicago and do all manner of marketing, web design, print work, etc., etc.
Went to a seminar a while back where everyone had a nice laugh at the use of the cliche crap above.
I've got a gigantic list in my bookmarks of good and bad law firm websites, and plenty of both use that stuff.
