yeah pugdawg ... infantile rants and namecalling doesnt really accomplish much. if you have an opinion and you are passionate about it fair enough, but why resort to useless swearing .. it only beings down the expectations of intelligence from you.
And as far as redmonds comments .. i think hes speaking about the patriot act and maybe patriot act 2 soon .. feel free to read up on them and their countless violations of civil liberties here:
http://www.alternet.org/story.ht…And as far as the 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11th, I dont think Redmond was trying to downplay the tragedy at all ... stop blurring what was said with what you think was implied. If you look at the rest of world pugdawg, you can see that ratio of lives lost to terrorism to actual citizens living here is as almost 1 percent of what it is in many countries in the Middle East and Africa. Was the attack on 9-11 tragic and horrible yes .. but the typical American attitude that when it happens to US makes all the more important is the very reason why the rest of th world sees us as egotistical and selfish.
Millions die under the boot of terrorists every year, but the 3,000 that died in NYC have gotten far more global attention and mourning that any other attack in the past 2 decades. Don't belittle life in any form, regardless of their geographical location or religious beliefs, and dont romanticize the deaths of Americans as more important and tragic than any other.
