You need to go research real vintage feel, like go look at old movie posters or flyers, graphics and report back with something more dynamic.
You basically presented 1 idea to the client. Changing the colors and type size isn't really a new option, just a variation.
Anytime i present something to a client, I always give them a choice. but anyway. just my thought. you probably won't even get it.
