i have sleeves to my elbows and a small tattoo on my right wrist. I usually intervew in 3/4 sleeve shirts. they can see the tattoo on my wrist, but for the most part i dont get nervous about it because
a) i dont ever want to work in a place with a dress code
b) a company will like you for how good your work is
i work in a high end fashion ad agency, where most of the women are top notch hot fashion looking styles, I am always myself, true to my work and come in here looking like a bike messenger everyday. If you plan on working somewhere for a while, its hard living a lie, about your work ethic, design style, or your tattoos, I say be yourself with some discretion at the interview, and then dont be afraid to be yourself completely as you feel out your new job!
