    cute kid..
    actually, some developer friends of mine had similar stories..maybe not as sensational as this, but by the age of 11 or so they were going to computer camps, learning to program etc..
    by the time they were 13 they had developed some video games (and this was back in the early to mid 80's mind you) for the comodore64, you could play them via bbs...and they were subscription based..you had to send them money to start..
    their parents were starting to wonder what was up when they both started getting assloads of checks sent to them from all over the world..

    anyhow, now they're both in their 30's, incredibly succesfull and don't even have to wait on tables in truckstops (that was for opiate) ;)

    nothing wrong with getting kids into this sorta thing, provided that its not like, mandatory or anything, or you'll beat them if they dont' get their certification, or whatever..
    kid likes computers..wicked...
    go nuts and have fun i say..
    meet bill gates...
