DUDE you really skipped the advances neurology made the last 2 decades, i will admit it is a you science, but there is not ghost or soul in the machine. It's all in the neat clean package called brain.

-------------------------------I flatly disagree, Hym. Neurology has not provided an explanation for such phenominon. Physicalism cannot be true of several reasons: 1. If every process had a physical explanation, we could graph it all and it could only be described from a 3rd person point of view. But we have first-person, subjective points of view. 2. It would also negate free will because we would all be subject to the fixed laws of nature - everything would be fatalistically determined. No free will, if we're all just physical and there's no distinction between the brain and the "mind". And you could not hold me responsible for any act I commit because it's rigged by genetics and environment. 3. Physicalism cannot explain out of body experiences when there is no brain activity - which have been related many times. 4. Dr. Penfield said, "There is no place [in the brain] where electrical stimulation will cause a patient ot believe or decide." 5. The brain cannot be stimulated to produce metaphysical realities like, love, the experience of color, deep emotional pain, etc...
No sir, we are far more than just a collection of neurons which react to stimuli.
