good points elektro, but i think Sapphire was just trying to keep the distinction in beliefs .. as with terrorist subject, the language has been blurred and manipulated to confuse people. Many people believe the Soviet Union and Russia are the same thing ... when the USSR was actually a large number of countries. The same for communists and nazis, people don't distinguish the differences between previous US opposition .. they just lump them all into one category and call it a day.
The same is happening right now with Saddamn and Osama ... some 60 % of Americans believe that Saddamn and Iraq was directly involved in September 11th .. when that couldn't be less true. The Administration has blurred the distinction between Islamic Fundamentalist and Socialist Dictator ... Osama has called for the muslims of Iraq to rise up and overthrow Saddam on countless ocassions, but the Bush administration would hate to admit that the US has a common enemy with Osama Bin Laden, so instead they refuse to educate the american public, and just allow the speeches from our president to blur the lines and allow American hate and desire for revenge draw their own conclusions.
