    and still it continues:

""These are not military actions. These are terrorist actions," said Brig. Gen. Vincent Brooks, Central Command deputy director of operations."

I think I am going to buy a dictionary for our esteemed General Brooks.

This time of labeling creates a horrible dehumanization of Iraqi people. This is clearly its intent, and the campaign started long ago.

Much like when a candidate is running for office, they try to name as many names of people they have met with, they show you pictures, they "humanize" their efforts .. this is bring you to relate to these people and see the "compassion" and "caring" of this candidate. And the antithesis being the labeling of every militia member, every protector of their homeland in Iraq as a terrorist.

Of course, in any war it is best for the men and women on the front lines to have the opposing force dehumanized, I mean who could rightly do their job thinking about killing someones father, daughter, brother or mother. But for the American public to feel no compassion for the lives being destroyed and lost in Iraq is inexcusable.

These people have no personality, and no identity to most citizens here in the States, they are simply empty hollow statistics. Just imagine for a second if the US were ever invaded and a regime change forced ... just imagine the number of people you know who would take up arms against the invaders and defend their homes and families to their deaths, and think of the irreplacable loss of each human life that would entail.
