That happened to me a while ago. I had my eyes on a job that was perfect for me, I really got to know the recruiter and went to interviews and stuff, but finally the job was taken by another lucky dude/man/bro/girl.
So I was devastated for a while but now I have ound another job to apply to that is even more perfect :)
And it helps to think about all the people that didn't even make it to the interview.
