What about multinational corporations? Aren't they a modern force/institution capable of mixing it up with governments and religions. You could even argue that they are more powerful, combining the best of religion (every body wears Nike™) and government (cd price fixing?)...
..and you still haven't answered my question, in the gorilla/bunny scenario who is good/bad?
