whoa there, hold your god damn horses.
the original use of LAMP was way to club together the open source and free technologies/software/languages of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PERL, not PHP. since PHP exploded (in popularity) two or three years ago the P has been considered to be PHP or, more often, PHP and PERL.
on top of that, many good LAMP developers and development teams would also say that to join them you would need to add regular expressions to that, plus have a good to very good grounding in javascript (there isn't mush use in having a great PHP to a MySQL db form if you are unable to validate it, and have to hand it over to the HTML/JavaScript junior).
Some would even add TCL/TK development.
Just be careful (if its a job you're applying for) when deciding that being a LAMP devloper means Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.
