every site is a rip of the first because it allowed you to read text on your computer from a remote server
every business card is a rip because it has contact info and a company name on it
every commercial is a rip because it uses video to try to sell you a product
i think rip needs defined so that these stupid threads will go away.
some rips are obvious because they look EXACTLY the same as what was ripped or only slightly changed by color
other sites are inspired maybe by something they saw before and liked but wanted to expound upon, these are not rips
