I listened to Radio 4 last night, another politicain spoke after Gerge Galloway had and said something like 'In the absence of the honourable member who having snagged his headlines has disappeared without remaining in the chamber to defend his statements..' (this is a VERY rough transcript of what was said).
Galloway is primarily a shameless self publicist who fopund himself backed into an awkward corner and found a quick way out.
What he spouts does have some hollow truth to it, but it's nothing that you don't hear every fucking wannabe anarchist rambling over their pints and roll-ups.
Ken Livingstone on the other hand stood up and spoke like a true statesman.
