You can't argue that he is part of the deconstructing type movement that Cranbrook's Makela and Haycock were leading at the time as well. I did find that line a bit egotistical without mentioning a couple more names or at least recognizing that there were others. However, at the same time I did take a bit of inspiration from the piece.
