Yea I know it's fun to shit stir. It's my favourite tactic in everyday life but it's different in person. Seems it's too easy for people to misinterpret faceless posts, and I prefer to communicate clearly than just start an argument and be self satisfied in the knowlege that I can get a reaction.
I do think people put themselves on the line by actually making something. It's easy to slate, especially when you don't have anything up that others can look at and judge you by.
But I'm a slave to politeness that way, maybe that's an impediment.
