In martial arts one most allways be oriented in one direction, with all your might. To do that, in kiaikido, we try to step out of our self and into a surton place, a situation, so that the situation becomes focus, not just your own body/self/physical being.
When the situation changes, you change with it, and then you can change direction yourself. In other words;; there is nothing inbetween A and B, only A and then B. ZAP - ZAP; Head off!!
